Do's and don't in Laos: some tourists will never learn it!

In Laos, don't show your feet to other people, don't put your feet up! We taught our children few rules of local politeness upon our arrival. Why can a 6- and a 4-year old understand a rule and some European tourists be so rude? Lao people in the bus were shocked!
