Gourmet note #3: The Blue Pumpkin, bakery and ice cream parlor, Siem Reap, Cambodia

Towards the end of a long cycling tour, it was the thought of refreshing ice-cream scoops that kept us going. I am not an ice-cream lover but I have to admit: those at the Blue Pumpkin are simply delicious.

My son chose the candied pineapple flavor, my 6-year old daughter preferred a classical, tasty raspberry sorbet. Exotic flavors of green lime with kaffir leave or ginger with roasted black sesame are my favorite ones. My baby loved them all, happily!
