Around Siem Reap with kids - The Butterfly Garden, Bantaey Srey, Cambodia

Do you want to take a break from the multitude of Angkor temples? Visit the Butterfly Garden, north of Siem Reap and Angkor, a long taxi course from the city center (easily combined with some temple visits).

With our young children, we appreciate visiting those sizeable places. The guided English-speaking tour lasts about half an hour and answers many children's questions about eggs, caterpillars, and coccoons. The small garden is beautiful, filled with colorful flowers and butterflies, a playground for kids with its interlaced paths, miniature ponds and swinging armchairs.

The entrance fee is 4USD per adult, 2USD per child, babies enter for free.
